Greenbarrow MART & GROCERY

Home About

The neighborhood mart, run like a farm stand

Greenbarrow started in 2011 as a single produce table outside the old mill. Fourteen years later we fill a full market hall — but the rule hasn't changed: if it isn't fresh enough for our own tables, it doesn't make the shelf.

Every morning our buyers walk the valley's farms and the regional market before dawn. By opening time the greens are misted, the bread is still warm, and the day's deals are chalked on the board.

Picked daily

Produce arrives every morning and anything unsold by evening goes to the community kitchen — never back on the shelf.

Local first

Valley farms get first refusal on every shelf. What's in season within fifty miles is what's on promotion.

Honest prices

One fair price, marked clearly. Daily deals are real markdowns on real food — no inflated comparisons.

Our suppliers

Fourteen family farms, two bakeries, one dairy herd and a mushroom grower in a converted barn. We name them on the shelf tickets so you know exactly whose hands grew your dinner.
